Nike Multi-Gender Concept Store, Vienna, 6th district Assigned by the international sporting goods group Nike Austria’s first “Nike Multi-Gender Concept Store”, situated in the Generali-Center shopping mall on Mariahilfer Strasse in Vienna’s 6th district was constructed. The store extends onto two levels, with the sales area situated on the ground floor. A steel staircase grants access to the upper floor, which contains the storage area and the staff rooms. In the sales areas, the lighting design takes on a guiding function, serving to subdivide the store into different zones. In the layout of the sales areas, with their modern, easy-access product displays, the main focus is placed on optimum customer service. A multimedia system within the store serves purposes of consumer information and advertising. In terms of color scheme, the sales area is designed in characteristic black-and-white contrasts. A new design is also provided for the storefront towards the street. By means of a multimedia wall, this area is used for advertising and information. |
